Formatting Toggle Group
A formatting toolbar: bold, italic, underline and strikethrough as multiple toggle buttons, alignment as a single choice with a pill sliding under the active one; arrow keys in the bar, Ctrl+B / I / U, live text preview.
No dependency: paste the HTML into your page, the CSS into your stylesheet, and the JavaScript into a function that receives the parent element (root).
